Who we are

Bhuvaji is a Gujarati astrology app. This policy covers both the app and this website.

What we collect

• Birth details — name, date of birth, time of birth and birthplace, used only to calculate your chart.
• A panchang city, if you choose one other than your birthplace.
• An anonymous account id — a random number so daily limits can be counted. It carries no name and no phone number.
• Basic app usage (which screens opened, whether the app crashed) to improve the service, once the app is launched.

We do not ask for your contacts, photos or location permission.

Where it goes

• Our server (Supabase, Mumbai) to calculate and store the chart.
• Our astrology calculation provider (Navamsha): the date, time and the birthplace's coordinates are sent. Your name is not.
• Advertising (Google AdMob) and analytics (Firebase) once ads are switched on in the app.

The calculated result is stored on our server without your name or contact details — only a hash of the birth inputs identifies it.

We never sell your data.

What stays on your phone

Your birth details and family profiles are kept encrypted on the device. Uninstalling the app removes them.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, for UK/EU users, the GDPR, you may access, correct or delete your data and withdraw consent.

Children

The app is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
